Reasons for Introduction

Obsolete Reasons for Introduction

Practical experience of product development and the associated processes and methods are an important part of student learning. In discussion with industry, academics and students during the review of the Bachelor of Electronic Commerce, it was clear that the opportunity to participate in a practical, team-based project, which integrates theoretical learning across many areas, is invaluable. This proposed unit aims to build on the theory from the core subjects of the first two years of the degree to get students to practice electronic commerce in a real world application. The subject content will be closely integrated with the other core subjects in third year which are its corequisites.
