Obsolete Reasons for Introduction

The Multimedia Industry is a third year unit within the Bachelor of Multimedia Systems degree (Applications major). It provides direct interaction between students and professionals currently working in the multimedia industry. It will engender the attitudes that will allow the student to act in a responsible, professional manner and will also make students aware of the current and possible future application areas of the multimedia industry. The unit will also instil an awareness of the broader social implications of multimedia including relevant legal and ethical issues.
