Obsolete Reasons for Introduction

This unit is being introduced as a part of a restructure of the Bachelor of Digital Systems course. A major objective of this degree program is to provide the students with the knowledge of digital systems and embedded computer system design. This unit addresses this objective and is introduced to provide up-to-date background on the fast moving techniques of digital systems and embedded computer system design. This unit is the restructured DGS3120, an existing third year core unit on embedded system design, and will replace that unit.
